@cybette Yea i saw that. In between of opting in or waiting for it to stabilize even more. I'll probably wait. I don't see anything that i reeeeaaally need in this release.

@ApB well, unrelated schedule aside, opt-in update has just been made available :) https://together.jolla.com/question/59874/release-notes-opt-in-upgrade-to-software-version-11038-uitukka/

You can verify if you have this security hotfix installed successfully by running "rpm -q nss xulrunner-qt5 sailfish-version" in Terminal app when the developer mode is enabled. It should output the...

@ssahla, thank you VERY much for your comment about new Shortcuts item in Settings. You saved me! I was desperately factory resetting to 1.0.4 and updating Jolla to 1.0.8.21 for about half a day. I...

@hobarrera Lighthouse. Works ok but i don't think the dev is interested in doing anything more with it. Good thing is that its open source so someone could take it over.

@ApB nothing given away ;) we have iteration meeting every month, schedule not affected by update.
View ArticleComment by ApB
@dsilveira @cybette gave it away by "mistake" i think while postponing the community meetup. They have an iteration meeting next Tuesday so its either this week or early next.

@eson maybe this from Super NielDk https://together.jolla.com/question/57992/bug-cant-download-and-install-security-hotfix-for-tahkalampi-10821/

Maybe the update process should show "not enough space" warning ? Silent failures are pretty bad.

@eson For me it was caused by a full disc. Following the answer on https://together.jolla.com/question/14633/bug-factory-reset-no-storage-left/ helped me recover about 5GB of space. Perhaps this helps...

@ApB - weird. It fas fixed for ~10 mins after the update, but now it's reverted to its old behaviour. :(

@eson Same here. After many attempts I managed to get a download. After installing that I still get the update offered.

@ssahla woah, thanks. I don't use my Jolla much so I didn't remember such option. Jolla really needs to be more careful with these updates, they shouldn't change options!

@Sthocs I have never even tested that feature. File a bug for it. Anyway only two things happened during that uptime. Clipboard failed and LED notifications stopped working. Reboot fixed them both.
View ArticleComment by Sthocs
@ApB it's because you didn't used the WiFi Hotspot. Reboot is mandatory otherwise :/ @roglio you could have taken 10sec to look at the previous version number.

Thank you for the security hotfix. Will wait patiently for upgrade 9 or will it be upgrade 9 +10?!

I don't get the update. When I check in the settings, my Jolla strangeley says, that my Sailfish OS version is "unknown". Does anyone have the same problem? Is there a fix? (besides resetting the phone)
